Storage Locations

Property items, assets, and equipment are kept in storage locations.

 

These locations:

• Belong to a jurisdiction.

• Can be organized in a hierarchical structure – for example, Location > Building > Room > Shelf.

• Can be case-based.

  This means they're exclusively associated with a case.

  For example, you might have a temporary secure storage unit at the scene of an investigation.
